Best Peach Lipsticks Guide

Latest posts by Jamie Tugayeva (see all)

The lipstick market may feel oversaturated these days, and we all want to wear lipstick not just for ourselves but as an extension of our expression. It also gives way to new beauty lovers or people dipping their toes into the colorful world of beauty.

Peach lipsticks appeared on the red carpets of y2k events, but they have firmly stayed in our color selection for a while. Maybe you are more of a red lipstick person or nude tones, but a peach shade is a great fun alternative. Just like any other lipstick, you can find different undertones of peach lipsticks and varied finishes, so the right and perfect peach lipstick is there for you.

Peach was always in my arsenal, but when I started wearing makeup, I would choose brighter colors or gravitate to more complicated shades of red. It took me a couple of years until I found the Essence peach shade, and now I am in love.

Bottom Line Up Front

If to choose a single peach lipstick, I recommend the GXVE Loveable Me for a new experience or the Orgasm lipstick. If you are searching for a good oldie, the Rimmel Coral in Gold will be your match in heaven.

My Favorite Peach Lipstick

My love rendezvous with peach lipsticks peaked with the Essence Perfect Shine lipstick in 04 Perfect Looks. Sadly it is discontinued now, but it placed a demanding peach lipstick need in my heart.

Also, this highlights that you do not have to break the bank to get a great lipstick that will last a long while and keep you peachy and good-looking. Thankfully, drug store brands have stepped in and made beauty far more affordable and approachable to more than ever.

Hopefully, drugstore lines will keep their prices in check, despite several brands raising their prices, while Lime Crime stated that they are permanently lowering the price tag on all their collections.

How to Wear Peach Lipstick

Wearing Peach Lipstick

Anyone can wear peach lipstick if it tickles their fancy! I do not believe there is a color that is impossible to pull off. If you want it on you and it feels right, why not wear it? Peach lipstick looks good on more formal occasions, or when you want a more muted look as well, when you want to look good and like a doll.

Many have ditched their foundations these times and prefer concealers or a combination of foundation and concealer. Wearing peach lipstick on a bare face or a natural-looking beat is more than acceptable. Muted or warmer tones will look better with the chosen peach lipstick. Remember that the best one comes down to what the person feels like and gives them a boost of confidence.

The Best Peach Lipsticks

#01 Sushi Kiss by MAC

MAC Sushi Kiss
Image from Perfumes & Companhia

MAC has such a massive catalog of colors, finishes, and shades that you can get overwhelmed by choice in a limited MAC counter. The MAC Sushi Kiss lipstick is always on my to-buy list. MAC lipsticks are very consistent. The company occasionally raises its prices while keeping up its quality and standards.

The lipsticks have an unmistakable smell, feel, and durability that is hard to find in any other. The MAC Sushi Kiss is a soft orange that can quench that peachy craving a person might have.

Pros

  • Stable quality
  • Not limited edition
  • Great pay off

Cons

  • A bit costly
  • Some fragrance

#02 Coral in Gold by Rimmel

Rimmel Coral in Gold
Image from Rimmel London

Rimmel has one of the best lipstick formulas you can ever put on your lips. The Rimmel lipsticks are very light on application, durability, and on the wallet. Rimmel is easy to find in stores in most countries, so all you have to do is roll up to the store and pick them up.

My love for Rimmel is well over a decade old. Their products were always on my mother’s makeup shelves, mixed with high-end stuff. Rimmel was just that one great brand that never disappoints. Coral Gold is a stunning coral shade with a glamorous peachy tone.

Pros

  • Nice on the wallet
  • Lightweight
  • Shimmery

Cons

  • Sometimes hard to find outside the UK
  • Packaging never changes

#03 409 Peach by Kiko Milano

Kiko Peach

I love Kiko Milano and their Smart Fusion lipstick. The Smart Fusion is a rather accessibly priced lipstick range with almost every color you can imagine. The products in this line are durable, and the packaging is a plain slick black rectangle with bullet lipstick inside.

The 409 Peach is a dreamy color that gets the job done. This product has no luxurious fragrance, over-the-top high-end marketing, or extravagant promises. The Smart Fusion is just peach lipstick, but I feel it is good to have simple things from while to while.

Pros

  • Straightforward lipstick
  • Reliable
  • Easy on the wallet

Cons

  • A bit too plain
  • The top of the package is a bit more matte compared to the bottom half

#04 Peach Fuzz by L’Oreal Paris

L'Oreal Peach Fuzz

L’Oreal may be trying to break the ceiling and become more high-end, but we all love this confusing drugstore choice. The quality remains the same, our love remains the same, but ambition grows. L’Oreal lipsticks have been in our vanities for ages, and I doubt they will be going anywhere soon.

The Peach Fuzz is a rather obvious lipstick choice you will not regret. But if you are a long-term makeup player, you might be bored of recent L’Oreal creations outside of a staple or Holy Grail items in your collection. With so many options, it becomes easy to overlook a gem like this.

Pros

  • Reliable
  • Good coverage
  • Attractive peach choice

Cons

  • Predictable due to its longevity
  • Gold packaging scratches off

#05 Super Stay Matte Ink in Poet by Maybelline

Maybelline Poet

I have a few of the Super Stay Matte Ink lipsticks by Maybelline, and I love them so much! Poet is the favorite shade of one of my best friends, and I cannot get enough of it. Knowing the formula and seeing how the shade shines, I cannot recommend it enough!

Sometimes knowing a product line is a reliable way to choose a lipstick. You know the formula, the coverage, the scent, and the durability, so it is easier to jump into a new color. It becomes difficult to beat a long-lasting matte lipstick like the Super Stay Matte Ink line by Maybelline. Poet is a stunning shade, so why are you waiting?

Pros

  • Reliable and loved by many
  • Long-lasting
  • Matte and full coverage

Cons

  • Very long-lasting
  • Difficult to remove

#06 Antwerp Soft Matte Lip Cream by NYX

NYX Antwerp
Image from NYX Professional Makeup

The Soft Matte Lip Cream line is world-famous. Most of us have tried it and found a new product to love and use regularly. The NYX packaging is cute and iconic, and the formula is tried and true. NYX is quite a trailblazer brand for most products.

The company has dominated the beauty and makeup market on so many levels for years, and with good reason. But if you are new or have not tried the Soft Matte Lip Cream, take this as a sign to try Antwerp and enjoy it to the max. Due to its small and cute packaging, Antwerp is pretty handy to carry with you at all times.

Pros

  • Famous & trusted line
  • Good coverage
  • Easy to carry with you

Cons

  • Less product due to packaging
  • Not unique names, but staple

#07 Dirty Peach Matte Lip Kit by Kylie Cosmetics

Kylie Cosmetics Dirty Peach Lip Kit
Image from Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner

Many people are not big fans of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, but I got a Kylie Cosmetics lip kit and decided to see what the hype is all about. After plenty of experimentation, I can say the product is approved! I wish they were longer lasting, but Maybelline spoiled me in that regard.

In this day and age, where I and others are a bit tired of matte lipsticks, the Kylie lip kits still feel like a breeze of fresh air. They come with a matching lip liner and the coveted liquid matte lipstick, which is very pleasant to wear. Dirty Peach was one of the iconic shades before the company rebranded, and you can find it once more.

This lip kit is a great shade that does not stand out too much and looks great on everyone who wants to rock it.

Pros

  • Good combination with its own very creamy liner
  • Very light on the lips, it feels like wearing nothing
  • Non-drying

Cons

  • It could be more long-lasting on the lips
  • The formula changed too much from the previous Dirty Peach

#08 Lolita II Studded Crème Lipstick by KVD Beauty

KVD Lolita II
Image from KVD Beauty

Lolita lipsticks used to be the bread and butter back when Kat Von D was in charge of the makeup brand, but after she left, people kept buying Lolita lipsticks, and I am one of them. I hope KVD Beauty will not discontinue anything Lolita related, as it is a staple for the brand.

Lolita II is a great peachy companion to her older sister. If you have tried the Studded Crème formula, I guarantee you will love this already. It is a great vegan lipstick that is long-lasting, creamy, and will stay put for hours to come and stand out, making you look more stunning and confident than usual, even if you are already! It is gorgeous!

Pros

  • Long-lasting
  • Pleasant fragrance
  • Great high-end lipstick

Cons

  • Might get discontinued
  • Hard to find

#09 Orgasm Lipstick by NARS

NARS Orgasm
Image from NARS Cosmetics

An iconic blush made its way into an iconic collection, and the same goes for the NARS Orgasm lipstick. This product is supposed to imitate your face glowing after some intimate fun.

The name has caused enough controversy and different opinions on whether makeup brands have been over the top with sexual undertones. Name drama aside, the infamous Orgasm blush has been a best seller for quite a while now, and the name has moved onto more items, which are also just as well done and high quality.

NARS may have dipped in creativity regarding their new items and lines, but sometimes doing something stable is what the brand wants. The Orgasm lipstick stays the same, and the same goes for the high sales. This product is a unique peach satin lipstick with some golden sparkle. You cannot go wrong with that.

Pros

  • Staple lipstick
  • Same quality
  • A good high-end formula

Cons

  • Hefty price point
  • Too sheer for some

#10 Melon Smoothie Plushies Soft Liquid Lipstick by Lime Crime

Lime Crime Melon Smoothie
Image from Lime Crime

Lime Crime was once a powerhouse in the makeup industry and was very well known for going out of the box with an insane array of different colors and finishes for the lips. While it may no longer be the number one brand, Lime Crime has great staples and a wide selection of items. Among these is a great nude peach soft matte lipstick.

With the news that Lime Crime is reducing their prices even further down to keep on with the times, now you can get a good lipstick for a fair price. The future of Lime Crime may be uncertain, but the Melon Smoothie Plushies Soft Liquid Lipstick is a guaranteed hit.

Pros

  • Cute, iconic packaging
  • Long-lasting
  • Fades nicely

Cons

  • The formula is patchy sometimes
  • Still could be more affordable

#11 Flesh Fatale BlitzTrance Lipstick by Pat McGrath

Pat McGarth BlitzTrance
Image from Sephora

Oh, Pat McGrath! Once you try it, you can never go back to probably most brands you have loved for ages. Her Mothership palettes are iconic and almost impossible to beat. Can the same be said about her other products? Oh, yes.

Even though the eyeshadow palettes might be her forte, Pat McGrath’s lipsticks are high up there along with her lip balms. Lipsticks made a massive comeback, and since many of us suffer from dry lips, why not moisturize in style?

Many might say Pat McGrath products are unnecessary or overpriced, but if you feel like it, why not go all the way? Mother has you covered with this stunning BlitzTrance in Flesh Fatale.

Pros

  • High-end formula
  • Meets expectations and beyond
  • By the Mother of makeup herself

Cons

  • A single item of lipstick
  • Very expensive

#12 Lovable Me Original Me Clean High-Performance Matte Lipstick by GXVE By Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani Lovable Me
Image from Sephora

Gwen Stefani has been synonymous with fashion and her iconic red lip, which nearly makes her unrecognizable when she wears any other color. But her brand branched out with more lipstick colors than the most famous red lipstick-wearing rock star.

The oversaturation of makeup brands created by celebrities is an annoying trend, but this does not apply to Gwen, who has been a makeup titan for many years and is stunning in every era. Her lipsticks are no exception.

GVXE products are hard to miss, regardless of how fond you are of Gwen. This line is a favorite among many of my friends as well. This shade pulls browner but is a great brown peachy tone that will look great for many fun days out!

Pros

  • The iconic person behind the brand
  • Great quality
  • Durable

Cons

  • Not available everywhere
  • Not groundbreaking factually

#13 Taunt Matte Liquid Lipstick by Morphe

Morphe Taunt
Image from Ulta Beauty

Morphe is quite a solid brand, despite their scandals, their quality matches their approachable price, and lip products are one of the best I have tried. They feel very high-end and show that lower prices do not necessarily mean worse items.

When I delivered Morphe, I had to get it from a UK retailer. It was quite a bumpy delivery for me, but if you are in the US near a Morphe or an Ulta, you can try these beauties in person. This peach shade feels great on the lips and fits most budgets.

Pros

  • Affordable
  • Durable
  • Lasting

Cons

  • Plain packaging
  • Some people do not like the shade itself
